Poor Start by India in ICC Champions Trophy

ICC Champions Trophy has commenced and there is no doubt that it is going to be a treat to all cricket fans. Indian players suffering from injuries include the big names like Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh and Zaheer Khan. As a result their absence has been clearly shown in the first battle by india against pakistan. Pakistan having won the toss decided to bat first.

It was a wonderful partnership between Mohammaad Yousuf and Shoib Malik that enabled pakistan to post a huge score of over 300 runs. India went in to chase a big total. India lost wickets at regular intervals. The colapse started when the most respected and hopeful Indian Batsman Sachin Tendulkar has fallen prey to the young aamar. India was in no position to win this battle.

Then Raina gave a light of hope but he was dismissed after a quick fire 40 runs. The fall of wickets continued and at last it was a comprehensive victory for pakistan by 54 runs. Can India bounce back to make it to the top four spot. It is a pathetic question to all Indian cricket lovers. Lets hope for the best.
