Everybody must clearly understand the term "Yoga". It is nothing but traditional and mental disciplines. According to me, i would recommend everyone to practice yoga which rejuvenates our spirit and makes us strong both in heart and mind. Yoga stimulates our physical organs and ensures better health on a long term.

Ancient Yogis had a belief that in order for man to be in harmony with himself and his environment, he has to integrate the body, the mind, and the spirit. For these three to be integrated, emotion, action, and intelligence must be in balance. The Yogis formulated a way to achieve and maintain this balance and it is done through exercise, breathing, and Meditation - the three main Yoga structures.

In Yoga, the body is treated with care and respect for it is the primary instrument in man's work and growth. Yoga Exercises improve circulation, stimulate the abdominal organs, and put pressure on the glandular system of the body, which can generally result to better health.
I would like to just give an essence of the six branches of yoga:

1. Hatha Yoga - Yoga of Postures - It ensures peaceful mind and physical strength

2. Bhakti Yoga - Yoga of Devotion - Teaches Devotion and Love

Poor Start by India in ICC Champions Trophy

ICC Champions Trophy has commenced and there is no doubt that it is going to be a treat to all cricket fans. Chandrayan1 Discovers Water on Moon

Chandrayan1 is India's maiden lunar mission and it has turned out to be successful as the probe has given out photographs that ensures the presence of water on the surface of the moon. The discovery of water is significant not only for reasons of science. Barstow said if the moon had a sufficient quantity of water, then it would be possible to "unlock that water" and set up a processing plant. Barstow was particularly excited over the prospects of the US now reviving its lunar exploration programme, saying there is a "huge amount of science to be done" on the moon implications for the Mars exploration programme as well.

Space scientists are looking at the moon as place for 'acclimatisation' -- a short-haul destination in space to help prepare for longer space flights and exploration programmes, such as the one for Mars, which is a two-year return flight. "The moon is within easy reach. It takes only a few days to reach and a lunar programme could help us in the process of learning to live and work in very inhospitable environments," Barstow told IANS. "The moon is a pretty hostile place, and exploring it is one way to learn how we can move about the solar system. "There is a lot of science left to be done on the moon itself. There have only been half a dozen moon landings and very little actual exploration. We need to understand more about the formation of the moon."

Barstow, whose university works closely with Indian space scientists in Bangalore and supplies instruments to the Indian Astrosat programme, said the Chandrayaan-1 finding showed that India had begun to play a vital role in the global space exploration agenda.

Eeram Movie Review

Eeram, one of the recent film in tamil, is to be looked very close giving attention to fine points in this review. The film is directed by arivazhagan stars Nandha, Aadhi, Sindhu Menon, Saranya Mohan. Aadhi and Sindhu Menon are in love and when Aadhi asks Sindhu’s hand in marriage, Sindhu’s dad agrees but Aadhi’s aspirations to become a police officer stand in the way. And the couple drifts away with a lot of heartache.

After a while Sindhu gets married to Nandha and starts a normal life in an apartment complex. A deliberate lie by Nandha to find out if his wife had an earlier love affair results in Sindhu revealing her past innocently which sows the seed of doubt in Nandha’s mind and her murder later on. The subsequent murders of many people responsible directly and indirectly for Sindhu’s death by her spirit take the audience on a thrilling rollercoaster ride which forms the rest of Eeram.

Eeram once again reiterates that content is the hero and scores well. Aadhi fits perfectly in the role of an ACP but somehow romance does not seem to be his cup of tea. Other cast members have understood their roles and have delivered right. The music director scores in his part. The film is really more fit to be watched.

YSR died in a crash

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YSR met with an air crash accident which has taken away his life along with four others in the chopper. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and four other persons were killed in the helicopter that crashed in the Nallamala Hills in bad weather on Wednesday losing radio contact an hour after take off from Hyderabad.

The bodies of 60-year-old Reddy - who led his Congress party to a spectacular second consecutive victory in the Lok Sabha and Assembly polls - his Principal Secretary S Subramanyam, Chief Security Officer A S C Wesley, pilot Group Captain S K Bhatia and co-pilot M S Reddy were found on Rudrakonda Hill, 40 nautical miles east of Kurnool.

History of Chennai

Chennai is one of the most prominent city as far as India is concerned. It is well known fact that chennai is formerly known as madras. Chennai situated in Tamilnadu is India's fourth largest city. Chennai, originally known as Chennapatnam, was located in the province of Tondaimandalam, an area lying between Pennar river of Nellore and the Pennar river of Cuddalore. The capital of the province was Kancheepuram. Tondaimandalam was ruled in the 2nd century A.D. by Tondaiman Ilam Tiraiyan, who was a representative of the Chola family at Kanchipuram.

It is believed that Ilam Tiraiyan must have subdued the Kurumbas, the original inhabitants of the region and established his rule over Tondaimandalam. Chennai is a city which has grown by merging numerous villages which are really ancient. The temples of Thiruvanmiyur, Thiruvotriyur, Thirvallikeni , Thirumyilai have existed for more than 1000 years. The Pallavas held sway over this region from the beginning of the 3rd century A.D. to the closing years of the 9th century, except for the interval of some decades when the region was under the Kalabhras. The Pallavas were defeated by the Cholas under Aditya I by about 879 A.D. and the region was brought under the Chola rule.

The Pandyas under Jatavarman Sundara Pandyan rose to power and the region was brought under the Pandya rule by putting an end to Chola supremacy in 1264 A.D. Pandya's rule over this region lasted a little over half a century followed by the Bahmini kingdom with the extension of Delhi Sultanate under Khilji dynasty especially under the rule of Alauddin Khilji. During 1361, Kumara Kampana II, the son of Vijayanagar Emperor, Bukka I conquered and established Vijayanagar rule in Tondaimandalam.
